What is the environmental footprint of your campus grounds? With this project, I helped my client assess campus landscaping, and set up a short term plan for more sustainable grounds with long term benefits. I then provided expert advice and strategic planning to help them with implementation.
Certification is the best way to document and share your progress towards sustainability. I can assist with ArborDay Tree Campus certification, American Tree Farm, Wildlife and Pollinator Habitat certification, Pollinator Habitat, and more.

I started Succession Ecology in 2021 to help others achieve their sustainability goals. I graduated from Michigan Technological University with a PhD in Forest Science. Previously, I worked as a field biologist in southern California planting trees and counting fish. My passions are pollinator conservation, forestry, ecosystem restoration, and connecting people with the land.
